Fuzz’s vet bill donations

Hello! I’m Emily.. you probably already know my beautiful Fuzz!

Fuzz has had lots of vet visits recently with what we thought was a reoccurring UTI. He’s been given 2 lots of antibiotics in the last 3 months but when he was treated for one just before Christmas it never cleared. I knew that it was something else. I got his urine tested as it was very bloody and he was obviously uncomfortable (showing calcium deposits) which then led us onto our first ultrasound. This showed me that Fuzz had a big stone in his bladder, this first ultrasound cost me £133.

We booked him in for surgery which was on the 7th January. He had the stone removed. He recovered well over the week but this surgery and medication cost me in total £883. He will now be on potassium citrate for life to try and prevent stones from reforming, alongside his low calcium diet which he was already on. This totalled us to £1016 in less than a week.

I know this is the cost of owning pets, I have a saving specifically for them and I really didn’t want to set a go fund me up.. but lots of people recommended that I do so and see what happens. I’m not aiming to raise the full amount as that’s a lot of money, but just something would be amazing. After having spent almost £2000 on Scruff last year.. another over £1000 is a lot for me. I’m getting as many extra shifts with my work as I can but any extra help towards rebooting the savings account would be very much appreciated
