Dustin, Nina, Carmen and Lou

We started this page, because our dear friends, Dustin, Nina, Carmen, and Lou (Nina's father), have lost their homes during this week's tragic Camp Fire.  These four individuals would do anything to help a friend in need and this is why we took it upon ourselves to get their story out there and try to  help them out.  Dustin, Nina, and Carmen's home was on Honey Run Road in the Butte Creek Canyon, and Lou's home was in Paradise.  Both homes were destroyed by this horrific event and our friends could use support from friends and family. The picture shown above is the remains of the Honey Run home.  Although many personal items and memories are now lost, we are grateful that everyone is safe. 

As our friends try to navigate their current situation, any help is needed, especially financial assistance.  Carmen will need to find and pay for a place to board her mini-horse Phantom (who was lost and has since been recovered), Lou will need to find another place to live and replace everything as he walked out of Paradise with the clothes on his back, and Nina and Dustin will have to rebuild their lives. 

In honor of paying it forward, 5% of what they receive will be given towards others that are in a similar situation.

This campaign was started by several friends of Dustin, Nina, Carmen, and Lou.  We live in the Chico area and have frequent communication with Dustin and Nina.   These funds will be supplemental and used to purchase clothes and other necessary items lost in the fire.   Each of them were impacting differently so these funds will be used slightly different by each of them.  Withdraws will be made when requested and all money raised will be split 4 ways.
