I am Braves Auntie Georgie and on behalf of the family, I am setting up a GoFundMe for my nephew, Brave Soul Rodriguez. My nephew was born with Down syndrome and had been fighting for his life for the last 8 months just shy of 9 months. He had been sedated, fighting infections, two collapsed lungs , rare lung disease, heart complications, and more. He was originally admitted October 16th for a 24 hour stay that turned into a long hard battle to live.

His family was forced to live at the hospital in a different state trying to find solutions and get better care. His dad the primary worker had to quit his job to take care of his family and make each day Brave had was spent providing love and care. Bills and medical bills have piled up and now with the extra expense of a funeral is a hardship on the family.

With the holidays approaching and four other kids in the family this holiday is not going to be one of celebration, but one to be reminded Brave never got to experience the special experience of the holidays.

We are asking those who can to help our family and give our warrior a celebration of life that is worthy of his long fight. To help his family to be able to grieve and pay the bills. It would even be nice to be able to give his older brothers a decent holiday.
