Funeral for Corey Sanchez
Dear friends and family,
On Monday, November 9, 2020, Corey unexpectedly passed leaving behind his beloved wife Damaris Sanchez and 4 incredible children Nyasia 19, Nevaeh 9, Miah 8, and Noah 6. This is a terrible loss that can never be replaced.
Corey was a captivating storyteller with spectacular cooking skills and an incredible ability to control the dance floor (his last dance was with his children moments before his passing). But what Korey valued most was the way his kids admired him. He truly enjoyed loving them.
As you can imagine, this is something his family was not prepared emotionally or financially. During these difficult times ahead we ask for your prayers and support for Damaris and their children. They have a long tough journey ahead dealing with the loss of Korey as husband and father while struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of a proper burial service. Therefore, we are asking each of you to please help us alleviate some of their burden and stress by supporting this fundraising campaign.
We ask your support in raising the much-needed funds to give Damaris and their children an opportunity to pay respects and create a proper resting place they can visit and pay homage to as a family. We will need to pay all funeral costs by November, 15, 2020. We ask that you consider donating if you are able to do so. No amount is too small.
These hardships never come at a good time therefore we are providing some creative ideas on ways you can support this fundraiser in case you too are encountering any financial struggles and cannot make a monetary contribution.
- Spread the word - personally share this link with 4-5 friends or family members by sending a text message, direct social media message, email, asking in person, or by making a phone call.
- Clean out your closet - get rid of things you no longer want or need and put it up for sale on FB Marketplace, eBay or Offer Up to help raise funds for this campaign.
- Create a raffle - offer your network an opportunity to get a baked cake, homemade pasteles, or chores for a day in exchange for helping you raise money for your friends | family in need.
