On January 23, Travis went to urgent care due to severe abdominal pain he thought was from a possible ulcer or other complication from a recent Bariatric surgery. A CT scan was done and multiple tumors were discovered on his liver, kidney and lymphnodes. After several more blood tests, biopsy and CT scans, Oncology confirmed the diagnosis and on February 12, 2020 Travis was diagnosed with metastatic Clear Cell Renal Carcinoma (advanced Kidney Cancer.)

Travis is an amazing friend, fiancé and father. He recently got engaged to the love of his life and welcomed their son into the world just 7 months ago.

Travis will soon begin immunotherapy treatments through Kaiser Permanente that will be given intravenously every three weeks.

The proceeds from this GoFundMe will help the Cantu family with the expenses of all medical costs including deductibles and copays, plus lost wages from missing work for appointments, treatments and just not feeling well.
