Funeral Expenses for Karen

We lost a beautiful soul, Karen Borne, tragically and unexpectedly on May 30. She left behind two young daughters, ages 12 and 6, as well as three devastated siblings – Ariel, Blaine, and Johnny Jr - and her parents, Julie and Johnny. Karen had travelled down a hard road of pain and sadness since she lost her maternal grandmother four years ago, to whom she was incredibly close. This past February she lost her great-grandmother, which only added to her pain, as well as the family’s. Now we have lost our daughter and sister too, and words cannot describe the shock and heartbreak.

At age 29, Karen did not have life insurance, and our family is struggling with the staggering debt to lay my daughter to rest. To stress over the financial burden on top of our grief is overwhelming. Any and all donations will help lighten our burden. We deeply appreciate anything you can offer.

Karen’s light always shone no matter the darkness on her road, and now we must find our way through our own darkness as we learn a life without her.
