We are asking for your help to raise money for Todd Totten who is fighting squamous cell neck cancer. Todd lives and works in the Denver, Colorado area. He is a kind man with a sweet soul, a single father of two boys in college, partner to Shelly, his rock, brother to four adoring sisters, and a great friend to so many. He is an avid outdoorsman and has s super positive attitude with a great sense of humor. He is always making people laugh and brightening their day. He is truly a great guy. Todd was diagnosed with cancer in early February, and he has started chemotherapy and radiation treatments in early April. Todd will also be doing some holistic cancer treatments along with the chemo and radiation.

If the diagnosis of cancer wasn’t difficult enough, there is also the cruel reality of the extremely high medical costs. Sadly, not all cancer treatments are covered by insurance, and many insurance plans have a very high deductible before they will pay for anything. There is also time missed from work for appointments…and there are A LOT of appointments! The financial burden starts to become overwhelming. Nobody needs added financial stress when they are fighting cancer, but that is where Todd finds himself.

Your donations will be used for medications and treatments not covered by insurance, and to help cover monthly expenses and unexpected bills that are accruing while Todd is going through treatments and recovering. Currently, Todd is still working as much as he can, but he’s been told that he may need to take a few weeks off once the effects of the treatments start to burden his body. Your donations will provide peace of mind for Todd so he can focus on winning his battle against cancer. Todd is the first person to help others in need, but he would never be the person to ask for help for himself. That is why we are asking for him!
