In February of last year, God started speaking to us about going to Italy. At first, we were hesitant. We didn’t speak the language. We didn’t know where we would stay, how we’d afford it (we had to leave our jobs), or even why God was asking this of us.

We would be leaving behind our home, our family, our friends; everything we knew.

But God kept pressing. Italy was everywhere; on TV shows that had nothing to do with Italy, in social media posts, and even in random emails about homes there. The signs were unmistakable.

Then one day, God gave me a word: “Job.”

I hadn’t even read the story, but I knew enough; Job lost everything, and God restored it all. In that moment, I understood. God was calling us to give it all up… but He would take care of us.

And He did.

Unexpected income came in, and when we looked up some of the amounts in Strong’s Concordance, the meanings pointed directly to Italy. We couldn’t deny it anymore.

As soon as we said yes, God started moving:

• Strangers helped us move out and donated their time and cars to move stuff

• He provided travel documents, plane tickets, dog documents, and more

• People showed up to buy our vehicles, chickens, and household items

But the enemy didn’t like it.

Neighbors called the cops on us three times for nonsense, and every time, the officers apologized and laughed at the claims. At the airport, a woman tried to lie to us, saying our plane had already left. But God stepped in; the pilot himself came out, said we were lucky his totem animal was a wolf (our dog looks like one!), and let us on the flight.

Since arriving in Italy, God has continued to provide.

We are a family of 9, including my grandmother, who has dementia, and our 5 dogs. It hasn’t been easy. There’s been stress, and spiritual warfare. But through it all, God has been faithful.

Now, we have a rental for the year and need money for groceries

 

We’ve been praying and trusting that God will make a way.

For over a month, I’d felt little nudges to create this page; and then I listened. So here it is.

all proceeds will go to paying for rent, groceries, and transportation to the store.
