Funding to support a Medical Centre, Khari Sharif
Donation protected
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
“Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status.
The Sageer Azam Memorial - Medical Centre founded by Brother Shakeel Azam provides free health services and medication to the under-privileged communities in the Khari Sharif area of Azad Kashmir.
Opened in June 2017, the medical centre is considered to be a lifeline to some of the 400+ people that visit each month. The running and maintenance of the medical centre has been funded privately through the support of family and friends.
What first began as a simple pharmacy has now developed into a medical centre with 7-day access to medical support by two trained doctors.
Since last Ramadan we have been able to meet the growing demand for medical supplies, recruit admin and build an additional treatment room.
We extend the request of donations to you. Your contributions will allow the medical centre to reach this year’s goal of:
· Recruiting a nurse catering to Women’s health
· Medical supplies such as oxygen tanks and inhalers
· Increasing the range of medicines provided
· Additional on-site facilities such as an additional washroom
Please consider donating to this cause as your donations will be regarded as a 'Sadaqah Jariyah' - a 'continuous charity' for our beloved brother Sagheer Azam whose dream was to help the locals of his area afflicted by poverty.
JazakAllah Khairun and may the blessings of Allah be upon you during this blessed month.
