Help Maz fundraise for Med School
Donation protected
Hi my name is Mazvita and I’m fundraising to help pay my tuition for med school at Cardiff University.
I am an international student from Zimbabwe and I am currently in my 4th year of Medicine I have 1 and a half more years to go. (Almost there) Unfortunately just after I started uni the political situation in Zimbabwe changed and that affected my mom’s job really seriously: Her and several other directors were pushed out for no legal reason.
My mom is a resourceful single mom of two girls and both of us are studying Medicine.
My mom has continued to fight and work hard to pay my sister’s and my tuition. It has not been easy especially with the COVID19 pandemic. My sister and I help out where we can by paying our own rent and food bills which has been incredibly difficult while studying medical degrees. By the Grace of God I’ve never failed any of my assignments or exams even through 2021 which was one of the hardest years of my life due to several family members passing. This year has been particularly difficult for my family and has resulted in my mom struggling to pay for all of my tuition and we could really use some help.
My mom has tried her best, and fought to keep both me and my sister in med school. She’s just about done all that is humanly possible to keep me here and for that I am eternally grateful. Unfortunately she just can’t sustain it on her own anymore. We need help.
I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember. I would love the opportunity to become a doctor and help provide more people with the medical care they need particularly in a world where the pandemic has shaken a lot of healthcare systems and made us more aware of how important healthcare staff are.
While I am almost there, we could use as much help as possible. I hope you’ll be able to help my family’s dream come true, I really want to be a doctor and I’d love your help to get there .
