I am reaching out to the community to ask for support for Tammy's memory care which is all out of pocket. She has been in memory care since February of 2019. I am very thankful for the outpour of support and love we have received over the last several years. As we approach the 5th year of Tammy being in memory care funds are becoming thin. Backstory:

Tammy Long is 47 years old and the mother of two beautiful children. She is diagnosed with bvFTD - Behavioral Variant Frontotemporal Degeneration. https://www.theaftd.org/what-is-ftd/behavioral-variant-ftd-bvftd/.

Tammy is in a Memory Care Facility so we can keep her safe and active. We are spending as much time as we can with her and have asked that her close friends visit often. Tammy's passion was being a Librarian and Jazzercise Instructor. She misses both dearly but FTD has robbed her of the ability to work. FTD also steals someone's ability to even know anything is even wrong.

After concerns were raised by friends and family Tammy went to the doctor to undergo testing. Her case was eventually referred to the Mulva Clinic for the Neurosciences at the University of Texas Dell Medical School the Fall of 2018. Dr. John Bertelson M.D. at Dell Medical School gave us the official diagnosis of bvFTD on 1/29/2019.
