In memory of our beloved Frida

It is in deep shock and devastation that we share the news that our beloved daughter, sister and friend Frida Hernández Cordero unexpectedly passed away yesterday morning in Mexico, where she was born. Named after the great Frida Kahlo, our Friducha was a unique light all her own. Everyone who knew her knows that she was wise beyond her 24 years: always an observer, she still managed to make every room sparkle. We ask your support if you are able to please contribute to the family with the costs brought on with such an unexpected tragedy. Fridita, you are so loved. We can’t imagine a world without you and we know it will inevitably be less bright without you here. Ever the daddy’s girl, we hope you’re finally at peace having joined your beloved father on the other side. We'll weep for you always, Fridita, we'll always carry you in our hearts.

En profundo shock y devastación compartimos la noticia de que nuestra querida hija, hermana y amiga Frida Hernández Cordero falleció ayer por la mañana en México, donde nació. Llamada Frida en honor a la gran Frida Kahlo, nuestra Friducha fue su propia luz única. Todos los que tuvieron la suerte de conocerla saben que tenía mucho más sabiduría para sus 24 añitos. Siempre fue una observadora, aún lograba que cada luz brillara. Les pedimos su apoyo si pueden por favor contribuir para apoyar a la familia con los costos de esta tragedia inesperada.
