Freedom for Nasir Hassan Saleem Jr. HELP FIGHT!!

My name is Nasir Hassan Saleem Jr. and I’m raising funds to support my case. I, Nasir is currently facing charges in Delaware County, PA (Case #: CP-23-CR-7434-2018) for the incident in September 2018 a tragic shooting of his mother’s partner in Delaware County. Including 3rd-degree murder and possession of a firearm all in defense of protecting his mother from harm. These are serious charges, and unfortunately, Nasir has not received the strong legal representation and support he deserves. Nasir is currently fighting for his freedom and dignity in the face of a deeply flawed judicial process in Delaware County,—a county with a well-documented history of wrongful convictions and systemic injustice.

Despite the challenges he’s faced, Nasir turned his life around. He was given another chance—and he took it seriously.

Nasir began building a new path for himself, pursuing a career in Pest Control Management, a trade he was proud of and committed to mastering. Mastering so much he began to gather a team together to start his own business. He also volunteered his time in the community through various service programs, always seeking to give back and make a difference. His life was on a better track—until this case disrupted everything.

Nasir is currently incarcerated, awaiting sentencing in July 2025, and has been battling his case since 2018 with limited resources, ineffective counsel, and missing evidence.

We are asking for your help to raise $17,000 to cover:

1. Hiring a new private criminal defense lawyer, Expediting court transcripts, covering legal document preparation, and food and commissary for survival while doing time.

Without funding, Nasir faces going back into court with limited resources—and limited hope.

I’m bringing more attention on this story because Nasir deserves a fair opportunity to defend himself. Not only that but this case represents more than just one man’s battle—it symbolizes a larger fight against injustice, racial bias and systemic failures in Delaware County’s criminal justice system. NO ONE should face the full weight of the criminal justice system alone or without competent counsel. His future, his freedom, and his efforts to live a meaningful life are all on the line. He’s not just asking for help —he’s working for a second chance.
