⚠️ HELP FREE UNCLE HERVE From ICE⚠️
‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

⚠️ URGENT: PLEASE HELP FREE MY UNCLE HERVE ⚠️ OUR ONLY CAREGIVER, NOW SUFFERING IN ICE (Immigration) at STEWART DETENTION CENTER ⚠️

A family in crisis.
⚠️ A medical emergency ignored.
A life at risk.

My uncle Herve Cherenfant was taken by ICE from my property on November 5, 2025 while simply walking our emotional-support dog. Since that moment, our world has collapsed.

He is being held inside Stewart Detention Center, where he is:
• Denied medical care
• Suffering untreated stroke symptoms
• Vision-impaired & forced to sign documents he cannot see
• Coughing up blood during a viral outbreak
• Sleeping on concrete
• Dehydrated, in severe pain, and emotionally breaking down
• Terrified of being deported — even to the wrong country (Venezuela)

My uncle is our only caregiver. I am permanently disabled and raising a disabled autistic daughter. Without him, we are in a full-blown medical emergency at home since he’s been gone.

Haiti — where ICE wants to send him — is experiencing:
• Gang violence
• Kidnappings
• No functioning government
• No medical care
• No stroke treatment

Sending a disabled stroke victim there is a death sentence.

We urgently need help for:
✔️ An immigration attorney
✔️ Medical advocacy
✔️ Legal filings & fees
✔️ Emergency support for our home

Please pray for us. Please donate if you can. Please share our story.
You could be helping save his life — and ours.

⚠️ Please Help Save My Uncle Herve — Our Only Caregiver, Now Suffering in ICE (Immigration) Detention ⚠️

A family in crisis.
A medical emergency ignored. ⚠️
A life at risk.

My name is Lunise Cherenfant, and today I am writing with the heaviest heart of my life.

On November 5, 2025, ICE agents came onto my property in Douglasville, Georgia, and took my uncle, Herve Cherenfant, without any warning — while he was simply outside walking our emotional-support dog. Since that moment, my world has collapsed.

My uncle is not just family. He is my lifeline. He is my caregiver. He is the only person who keeps me and my autistic daughter safe, fed, and functioning. ‍ He is our father figure to us in every way.

Now, he is being held inside Stewart Detention Center, where he is:
• Being denied medical care
• Suffering from untreated stroke symptoms
• Vision-impaired and unable to read the documents being signed ️
• Coughing up blood due to viral outbreak in facility
• Sleeping on concrete under cold air with foam mattress ❄️
• Dehydrated and in severe pain
• Emotionally breaking down
• Forced to sign deportation papers he could barely see while telling them he cannot see ✍️
• And terrified he will be sent somewhere unsafe ⚠️ — documents mentioned Venezuela when he is Haitian

I am terrified too.
We all are.

My Uncle Is Disabled — and ICE Is Withholding Life-Saving Medical Care ⚠️

My uncle suffered an untreated stroke in July, leaving one side of his body weak, his balance unsteady, and his vision severely impaired. He also lives with:
• Diabetes
• Chronic pain
• Migraines
• Right side Paralysis
• Partially Blind
• Limited mobility ♿

He did not seek medical help after his stroke, because he feared ICE would take him — and that fear came true.

Inside Stewart Detention Center:
• He slept on a cement floor for five days before being given a bed ️
• Officers ignore his repeated requests for medical help
• He was forced to sign deportation papers he could barely see or read. His vision is so impaired he cannot read documents that he was forced to sign after requesting for an attorney and denied.
• The bright overhead lights are excruciating for his eyes and has worsened his vision impairment
• His right side remains numb and weak
• He says he has been coughing up blood
• Officers ignore his repeated requests for medical help by stating “we don’t know how long you will be here and it takes to long to get medical care”
• He has been refused pain medication, eye drops, and proper evaluation or request to speak to leading officer by stating “they don’t know anything at their location referring him to the court he does not have access too.”
• He is emotionally broken, terrified, and deteriorating day by day and they limit external communication with family and the public by having limited access to devices and phones. He does not even get access to his commissary and they don’t give messages to him when I request for him to call me. Most of the devices are not operable or they limit access as they please.

I have visited him twice, and both times I left in tears terrified that he may not survive long enough to come home or even make it to Haiti. They even denied me access to visit once 11/8/25 and I had to wait till the next day even though I was there within visiting hours between 2pm-8pm. They attempted to deny me access into facility again the next day on 11/9/25 due to my Medical Rollator Walker/Wheel chair ♿ informing me that I could not bring it into the facility. They reconsidered after I inquired about lack of disability accommodations. That day was more than an emotional battle. They make the visiting process unbearable and almost impossible.

To make things worse, there was a recent viral outbreak in Section C, the area where my uncle was being kept. This outbreak required relocating them to Section B and separating them from others to avoid contamination and affecting others in the facility. They treated with certain cold remedies & aspirins to remove mucus from their lungs (vague details). I raised concerns while another family member of a detainee also expressed that their relatives/70 yr old parent were having symptoms too but untreated. The ICE officer became upset and brushed my concerns off and accused my uncle of lying . The ICE officer denied the outbreak and his current health care status by stating “your uncle is a liar and that they have the best medical care in their facility.” When I inquired further as to why he’s not getting care and how he can get care moving forward she claimed he didn’t ask and I cannot ask on his behalf due to HIPPA. I then inquired if I can leave him a note then she sarcastically replied “I thought he can’t see, how will he read your note.” With all that said no one is willing to let him see a leading officer or take him to the law library to do a power of attorney to give me rights to speak on his behalf. He said the officers are very cold and disrespectful and I’ve experienced that myself on the visits I’ve had so far plus over the phone. My messages rarely gets to him.

Later, in a private conversation — away from ICE — an attorney familiar with that facility told me:
“Somebody is lying — and it’s not your uncle.” ⚠️

Without Him, We Are in a State of Medical Emergency

I am permanently disabled. ♿

I live with:
• Fibromyalgia
• Peripheral neuropathy
• Chronic migraines
• Mobility impairment
• Pulmonary Embolism
• Severe daily pain (periods where I am completely bedridden)

My home is filled with medical equipment ️: a hospital bed, wheelchair, walker, cane, and commode — because without these, I cannot move safely.

My daughter, Cece, has:
• Autism
• Dyslexia
• Chronic pain
• Emotional and developmental challenges

My uncle helped us with everything:
• Helping me get out of bed
• Bathing
• Preparing meals
• Medication support
• Transportation needs
• Emergency hospital visits
• Doctor and therapy appointments
• Emotional support
• Supervision for my daughter
• Household tasks
• Safety during crisis moments

I spent much of this year in and out of the hospital for my various conditions and life threatening pulmonary embolism. I’m only here today because he stood by my side, through it all. My uncle stayed with me through every single moment — day and night including through rehabilitation and assisted me with rehab upon returning home. Soon after he too had a stroke which he has not been treated for till now.

Now he is gone.
And we have no physical help, no caregiver, and no way to navigate daily life safely without him.

Our home is in a full-blown medical crisis.

The Dangers of Deportation — Haiti Is Not Safe ⚠️

ICE is trying to deport my uncle to Haiti.

But Haiti is currently one of the most dangerous places in the world:
• No functioning government
• Extreme gang violence
• Mass kidnappings
• Murders
• No hospitals with adequate care
• No access to stroke treatment
• No safe housing
• No disability resources
• Extreme famine and instability

Sending a disabled stroke victim there is a death sentence. ⚠️

My uncle will not survive Haiti.
He may not even survive the detention center if they continue withholding care.

Why His Immigration Case Is So Complicated

Many people ask why he wasn’t documented sooner.

His situation is complicated due to a 1996 voluntary deportation, which made it almost impossible to fix his status later — even though:
• He has 9 American children
• He was once married to a U.S. citizen
• He has lived here since he was a teenager 16yrs old and now nearing 50years old
• ICE had him checking in monthly for many years
• He paid all required fees
• They continued giving him work permits for 30+ years
• He has no criminal background issues

But proper legal help has always been super expensive.

But especially now every lawyer wants:
• $150–$500 just to speak
• $3,000–$10,000+ for filings
• And no one guarantees results

Pro bono programs are overwhelmed, months behind and many aren’t accepting new cases. ⏳

We are drowning trying to get someone — anyone — to help.

• No recibe atención médica

• Tiene problemas de visión y no puede leer documentos ️
• Tose sangre
• Duerme sobre cemento ❄️
• Está en gran dolor

Pero somos haitianos.

Necesitamos ayuda urgente para:
