Help us free Priscila from ICE prison!
Priscila is a trans refugee who was forced to leave behind her home after receiving death threats and physical abuse for her gender orientation. As an LGBTQ organizer, Priscila spent her time advocating for respect and dignity for her community in El Salvador but was constantly discriminated for being a trans woman. CARECEN met Priscila in a safe-house in Tijuana, when we spoke with her she told us all she wanted was security and freedom in being able to be who she was. Here is a picture of her right before she turned herself into immigration officials at the border to ask for asylum protections. For the past 4 months she has been locked up in ICE prison. ICE put a $3,000 bond for her to be released, donate now and help us reach our goal to post bail and liberate Priscila.
