Strength in unity - Help Fred with his medical journey.

Hi everyone, as many of you know, someone special to us has just received the most unexpected and devastating news. Fred Chafe, my mother's loving husband, our dear friend, and confidant, has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Fred works saftey on constrution sites and has worked hard his entire life to be the man people can depend on, whether it be his wife, daughter, his bonus kids, family or friends we all knew we could count on fred to help when we needed it and much of the time you could see the or hear the pride he held inside knowing he could be there for us. I have watched Fred stand beside my mother during her brightest and darkest times, and his support, love, and devotion never wavered. He has cheered us all on through graduations, new loves, the births of our children, he has spoiled grandbabies, and clapped at our smallest to most significant achievements. Fred has also held our hands and hugged and comforted us in our heartbreaks, the loss of loved ones, or our missed opportunities and failures. It is because he has a big heart that we all feel rather lost and brokenhearted right now. The next while will be challenging for Fred and my mother, as he can no longer work. Fred will have consistent doctor visits, which will require travel. There will be ongoing medical and cost-of-living expenses, bringing on more stress than they need. So, I am asking you all to please help Fred the way he helped... in any way he could and in any way you can. No donation is too small, and all will be appreciated so deeply. Thank you.
