Support Forest Time Kindergarten & Homeschool – Help Us Grow!
We at Forest Time Kindergarten and Homeschool are passionate about outdoor education and inspiring a deep love of nature in every child. As Northwest Ohio’s first certified forest school (recognized by the Eastern Region Association of Forest & Nature Schools), we proudly welcome children ages 3 to 13 to explore, play, and learn in the great outdoors.
Our classes are held almost entirely outside, where children learn through their most powerful tool: PLAY. Forest or nature schooling is a growing movement in the U.S. and a widely embraced educational model across Europe. Why? Because it works. Children in forest school settings develop stronger critical thinking skills, are better equipped to manage challenges, and even score higher on standardized tests. Studies also show they experience healthier physical development—both fine and gross motor skills—and more integrated neurological growth.
Now, we’re asking for your help to grow our impact.
Funds raised will go toward:
• Purchasing land or a small building for shelter during extreme weather
• Educational supplies and books
• Scholarships for families in need of tuition support
We believe every child deserves the chance to learn in a nature-rich, child-led environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, resilience, and a lifelong connection to the outdoors.
With your support, we can continue to provide a safe and enriching space where children thrive—rain or shine.
Thank you for helping us nurture the next generation of learners and leaders—one muddy boot and joyful moment at a time.
