Writing these things is difficult because there is so much need. Everyone is deserving of love, care and community support. If you have the funds to share, Runa and Frances are two people that will be forever thankful.

Who are Runa and Frances and why do they need help?
Runa and Frances are a lot of great things including super sweet, caring, trans/enby couple goals. They are both dedicated to supporting and caring for their communities. They have two cute small dogs (Fletcher and Banjo). They are also chronically-ill and really struggling with the challenges of existing as an immunocompromised couple with multiple health conditions during a global pandemic, especially when their previous work was service industry. Throughout the last two years, they've got themselves, without familial support or any safety net, through the unfairly long laundry list of bullshit I have listed below.
BUT RIGHT NOW, they need urgent help and they've reached the end of what they can do by themselves. Frances is in urgent care for the second time in a week because of medical neglect, running expensive tests and coming up to a solution for a blood clot (ERs are full because of COVID). They also have to move ASAP because of Runa's severe MCAS associated mold allergy and moving costs are due Monday to secure the new unit.
Unfairly long laundry list of bullshit:
- living with the struggles of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), a MCAS associated mold allergy, Fibromyalgia and other chronic illnesses.
- denied federal support like unemployment and wildfire relief funds (Runa took a job doing farming/wine cultivation and that farm caught fire but was out of the covered region; then not qualified for unemployment because of taking that job).
- got in a bad car accident that wasn't their fault and caused severe damage to them and their vehicle
- denied lost wages from the car accident because they have been working in the legal cannabis industry
- without a vehicle because their car has been inoperable and cannot be repaired yet due to national parts shortages
- lost family and friends due to coming out as trans and starting hormone therapy
- had to urgently move because of stalking and sexual violence from a neighbor.
- have to move again and work less because of the mold present in both their cannabis work and housing
- vet bills because their current neighbors are leaving garbage and actual human shit in their shared yard
