On Monday, July 10th - just 5 days after his 38th birthday - our family faced the unexpected and devasting loss of my nephew, Josh Pilgrim. There are no words to convey the shock and heartbreak he leaves behind.
Josh will be remembered for his kind and generous heart, and willingness to do anything to help his friends. His infectious smile lives on in his daughter, Jada, who - at just 12 years old - now faces a lifetime without her father. Our family knows the heartbreaking road that lies before her, as Josh was also just 12 years old when he and his younger brothers lost their beautiful mother, Michelle.
Josh was passionate about organ donation. As our family grieves, we also feel immense pride in the selfless and generous legacy he leaves behind as several families celebrate him and the gift of life he is passing on to their loved ones.

In addition, my brother David, and sister in law, Debbie, are faced with unexpected costs associated with Josh's untimely death. It's not an expense parents ever prepare for, nor ever should have to face. This fund will assist with those expenses, as well.
