At some point in all our lives, we become seekers. We seek truth, direction, purpose, and so much more. But, we seek. As the author of this new musical says, "There is a seeker in all of us."

This musical, first seen at the Next Step Theatre Festival earlier in 2025, truly touched me. The music was beautiful, the story profound, and the characters forever engaging. Limited by the constraints of a festival (low budget, no sets, limited access to many of the bells and whistles that make an earth-changing story resonate and grow), I still cannot stop thinking about it, and I want to bring it back to a bigger stage—perhaps for now Off-Broadway—and watch it grow. I am working on the premise that if you see it, you will talk about it more and think about it for a long time to come.

Oh, and did I mention that this is based on a true story? Incredible!

Please help me in this journey. I too am a seeker right now! I seek your support. We will need pre-production funding and donations to build the right team early on.

We need a SE Asian Dramaturg, a music producer to help us tighten the score, and professionally record some of these magnificent songs. We will need to hire a General Manager and bring on board the right director to make this vision come to life.

Here is the important thing. We want to shake up this musical and get away from the cookie-cutter approach. This musical has the potential to be different and audacious, and we intend to take it there.
