In Memory of Lindsay & Supporting Her Son Oliver's Future

Donation protected
Our longtime colleague Kathleen (Kathy) Roberts who works on the Admin team upfront for ASOC, has tragically and unexpectedly lost her beloved daughter Lindsay Roberts, age 30, during the Thanksgiving holiday. Lindsay leaves behind her precious 3-year-old son, Oliver (known to most of us as "Ollie").
Born December 19, 1994, Lindsay's memory will live on through her young son, and we are coming together as a community to ensure that Ollie has all of the support possible for his future.
About This Fund:
At the family's request, donations will go directly into an account for Oliver's future. This is to help with his care, needs, and education as he grows up without his mother. This is Kathy's greatest heartbreak: that her grandson will not have the chance to truly know the wonderful woman his mother was.
Respecting the Family's Privacy:
Kathy is currently in a stage of deep grief and has requested privacy during this time. She is not ready for direct contact, visits, or outreach. Please honor this request as she navigates this unimaginable loss.
How to Show Support:
Donate to Ollie's trust fund using this page
Send cards, letters, flowers, or small gifts by leaving them on Lara James' desk ( ext. 2982) which is located in the HHS building, bottom floor right in front of Matthew Campbell’s office on the Public Guardian/Public Administrator team. Lara will deliver these items weekly or bi-weekly to Kathy's husband, who will share them with the family when appropriate.
If you have Kathy's personal phone number and were close to her, you may send a text only—understanding she may not be ready to respond.
Please do not reach out directly otherwise, send food, or attempt to visit at this time as she was very clear that she wants privacy.
This sudden and devastating loss is truly unimaginable. As a community, we can best support Kathy by respecting her boundaries, giving her the space and time she needs to grieve, and ensuring her grandson Oliver has resources for the future ahead.
Thank you for your compassion, respect, and generosity during this profound time of loss.
In loving memory of Lindsay Roberts
