For Andres, Gone Too Soon but Never Forgotten

Donation protected
In sweet and loving memory of Andres Rafael Sevilla born on September 9, 1999. His short and joyful life came to a sudden end on May 26, 2024.

Andres was a beautiful spirit with a kind soul and contagious laugh. He was shy but charming. If you were blessed to meet him, you could tell by the spark in his eyes and radiant smile that he cared about you. He cared about everyone no matter how little or well he knew them. A person true to the meaning of human kindness.

He was just beginning his life, full of excitement and the joy of youth. He left his home country of Venezuela, temporarily residing in Florida and finding his way to make a home in Charlotte, North Carolina with his big brother by 1 year, Daniel Sevilla. He had a close relationship with his mom, always thinking of and about her due to the large distance between them. Andres established employment in the hospitality industry servicing the Courtyard by Marriott in Charlotte/Lake Norman, making a work family that he cared deeply about as they did for him. He was one of the hardest and proudest workers, never complaining and always flashing his heart-warming smile to all his coworkers and guests.

Andres was working towards the goal of saving up to purchase what he wanted the most- a car. He finally made that happen and bought a gray Nissan Altima which he loved and excitedly told everyone about. After about a week, in the early hours of Memorial weekend May 26, 2024; he was struck by another vehicle, ending his journey of life instantaneously.

Andres is survived by his loving family: Father Daniel Andres Sevilla, mother Maurelis Malaber, brothers Daniel R. Sevilla, Jose A. Sevilla and sister Valeria D. Sevilla, of Caripito Estado Monagas Venezuela.

The funds contributed will be used to send Andres back to his family where they can see him for a final time, lay him to rest peacefully, and celebrate his life.

You are missed dearly Andres and will never be forgotten. Keep smiling.

He always told his friends, "You are like a sun, never stop shining."
