Hello! My name is Amber and I’m the owner of Follow the Leader K9, a dog training business run in Cold Spring, NY.

Our goal at Follow the Leader K9 has always been to heal relationships between people and dogs. Over the past three years, we have been working hard to achieve this. We offer different programs and classes to help build trust, respect, and healthy communication into relationships.

In particular, our Canine Adventures program has helped many dogs learn basic training, manners, and socialization skills. This is an indoor/outdoor program that is run on our family farm. On the farm, we are able to give dogs a safe and structured place to spend the day, while exploring and learning. As the number of dogs in the program grows, our need for a permanent structure does as well.

One thing about life is that it’s always changing, and with change comes growth. It is time for our small business to grow.

Here’s our news! We are renovating a building on our farm so that we have a permanent dog training facility. The renovations will begin Fall of 2021.

Our estimate is about $5000 more than we were expecting. We’re happily accepting donations to help reach our goal. Thank you all for trusting us with your dogs, and supporting our small business. ♥️
