Fletchival - a Benefit to Help Vic & Fletch with MS Expenses

Vic & Fletch need your help keeping up with the cost of Vic's full-time caregiver and medical expenses due to Multiple Sclerosis.

Hi. I'm Vicki Fletcher. My friends know me as Vic, Groovic or Dancin' Vic because I used to dance nonstop, whenever I heard the music. I used to dance as I walked, I had a certain strut. My mom called it my sashay.

But in 2011 I was diagnosed with MS and it put a stop to all of that. I fought with every fiber of my being just to keep dancing through life. But it turned out to be a progressive form of MS and within 10 short years I lost all of my abilities and I am now a quadriplegic.

I am trapped inside my body, stuck in this chair, unable to do my favorite things; dance, take a walk on the beach, feel the sand between my toes, pet my dog, hug my husband, do my own hair, wrap presents, dress fashionably and strike a pose, drive, and sign my own signature.

Thankfully I have not lost my cognitive abilities, my sense of humor, or my love for life. I believe I have my Mom and Dad both to thank for that.

I receive no government assistance.

I am not eligible for Social Security disability insurance.

And the expenses have become just too much for us to handle.

I require regular medical procedures, and special medical equipment.

I require a full-time caregiver.

And I need a mobility ramp van to get around.

Any help that you can give will go towards helping us with these expenses.
