Fired for Supporting Palestine — Now I Need Your Help
Donation protected
I'm on the Verge of Being Evicted because I supported the children of Gaza.
I'm Kambiz Shabankare. I was laid off as an employee of Atlas Air — not for any lack of skills, but for condemning wrong and in defense of Palestine.".
Since then, I've had a hard time getting regular work. I was lucky to land a two-month working position for Working America in September. Still, everything else vanished when I brought up my story or what I believe in. Even Texas unemployment officials refused to support me, citing my termination.
Now I'm at my limit. My savings are practically gone. I share an apartment with a friend, and my $1,000 share of the rent is due next month—but my bank account will be dry. To add insult to injury, I have over $2,000 in regular monthly expenses that I can't afford anymore.
But I haven't given up.
While I'm job hunting, I've been rebuilding my future. I'm getting certified in AI development, and I've begun a creative project I believe in deeply — a strong comic book called "The Ghost of Palestine", telling the story of a Palestinian superhero named Bisan. It's my way of turning pain into purpose.
Why I Need Your Help:
This campaign is one of survival, but also one of resilience.
I'm asking for $10,000 to cover:
- Emergency rent and housing ($1,000/month)
- Utility, food, and essential bills (~$2,000/month)
- Study fees for AI certification
- Cash to continue creating comics and tech content
How You Can Help:
Every bit helps. If you can't give, please share this campaign. I'm not quitting, but I can't do this alone anymore.
Thanks for your support.
