Help FindiFox keep every child safe and findable

Donation protected
We have until the 10th August to close this funding round - or we lose the £522,288 the UK government has committed to protecting children, and years of work stall right at the finish line.

Every £1 you give unlocks more than £2 that's already waiting. If you want a safer, more findable future for your child, please donate what you can today.

Every parent knows the moment. One second your child is right beside you - the next, they've disappeared into the crowd. The soft-play centre. The shopping centre. The theme park. Your stomach drops, and nothing else in the world exists until you find them.

For most of us that moment lasts seconds. For too many families, it lasts far longer. Official figures suggest a child is reported missing in the UK roughly every three minutes - and the technology we all reach for, GPS, barely works indoors, underground, or in the busy, multi-floor places where children actually slip out of sight.

We're FindiFox, a British team building the answer - and we need your help to finish it.

Our device, Spark One, is a small, child-friendly wearable that helps you find your child in seconds, even where GPS struggles. It's private by design: your child's location is worked out on the device itself, and we will never sell it. This isn't a side project for us; it's the reason we started the company, and we've given everything to get this far.

And here's the part that matters most: this already works. We've spent years building our positioning technology, and in real-world trials it already locates outdoors to within 20cm - 30cm - several times sharper, and far steadier, than the GPS most phones and trackers rely on. The funding we're raising completes the final, hardest piece: taking that same accuracy into the places GPS can't reach - indoors, underground and across busy, multi-floor buildings - so Spark One can pinpoint your child to within around two metres in almost any environment.

And we're not asking you to just take our word for it:

The UK government's innovation agency has reviewed our technology, our team and our plan, and awarded us a £522,288 grant to build the heart of this technology. This isn't even our first government-backed project - we've already delivered one, on time and on budget.
We were named Tech Business of the Year 2025, and one of our co-founders was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2025.
We've successfully discussed pilots with schools and a UK council, and hundreds of families have already joined our waiting list.

And behind Spark One is a team that genuinely knows this technology. We're 7 strong: 2 co-founders, a PhD-qualified CTO leading the science, senior engineers specialising in radio positioning and spatial AI, and a CIMA-qualified finance lead keeping every pound accountable - working alongside researchers at UK universities. Completing this project also lets us create 5 new skilled UK jobs.

No donation is too small. Because the government matches our progress, every pound you give is multiplied - here's what your donation helps unlock:

  • £10 → around £28 in value
  • £20 → around £56 in value
  • £50 → around £140 in value
  • £100 → around £280 in value
  • £250 → around £700 in value
  • £500 → around £1,400 in value
  • £1,000 → around £2,800 in value

Here's where things stand. It costs around £750,000 to complete this work. The government is backing the majority - £522,288 - and our job is to fund the remaining share ourselves (what's called match funding). We had that covered… until one of our main backers had to pull out at the eleventh hour.

Replacing a backer of that size means months of investor conversations and legal terms - time we simply don't have before our project must begin in just a few weeks. Miss that window, and we forfeit the £522,288 the government has already committed. So rather than lose it, we're turning to the people this is really for: parents, families, and anyone who believes no child should be lost for a second longer than they must.

And this is what makes your help so powerful: every pound you give goes toward unlocking more than double its value in government funding that is sitting there, ready - waiting only for us to complete our share. Your donation doesn't just add up, it multiplies.

Your support will help us finish Spark One, run our pilots, create new skilled UK jobs, and get this device into the hands of the parents who need it - sooner.

With the government already behind us and the clock ticking, you can be the reason we cross the line. Please give what you can, share this with every parent you know, and help us make sure that every child is always findable.
