Ricky Lopez Needs Our Help While Fighting STSS
Donation protected
Over the last 42 years Tight Quarters has been blessed to have a select few who have helped mold the company and its reputation to what it is today. One in particular is Andres Lopez Sr. Who immigrated from Mexico roughly 35 years ago. His determination to strive toward the American dream has built a life for his family through hard work and dedication.
Currently, Andres Sr. And his family are facing a challenging situation as his other younger son Ricky battles a rare, life-threatening infection. Ricky, a subcontractor for Ekedal Concrete. Ricky was admitted to the hospital on August 5th for what was initially thought to be a severe flu or strep throat. The condition rapidly escalated into to what was determined as Group A STSS, a very harmful bacterial infection which can be deadly. The bacterial infection spreads deep into tissues and into the bloodstream. Ricky’s case is one that has required four surgeries thus far, skin grafts, and ongoing dialysis multiple times a week. Ricky remains hospitalized with no clear end in sight.
The Lopez family is grappling with significant medical bills, insurance issues, rent dues and all while having temporarily affecting the family’s income sources. To support them during this difficult time, I have created a GoFundMe campaign. Any donation is greatly appreciated. If you have questions or need more information, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
