We are a small, donation-funded, volunteer-run, passionate organization dedicated to the ethical care of community cats. We focus on trapping, altering, vaccinating, and returning the cats in need in the Driving Park area of Columbus in an effort to stabilize population size and improve the lives of existing cats. We are collecting donations to help get the cats of Driving Park, Columbus vaccinated, spayed, and neutered. So far we have trapped, neutered, and returned (TNR) 17 cats in one year!
TNR is a proven method to control cat population, reduce the cat vacuum effect, and help these existing cats live healthier lives.
TNR is not free. Depending on where we can get appointments it can run from $25 per cat with Columbus humane’s CCI program all the way to $75 per cat at locations like The animal health organization, CoPaw, and SOS of Ohio. While we would love to get all the cats done at Columbus, Humane appointments are few between so we need to use these other locations to keep up with the population. These expenses can add up quickly. So here we are asking for help. If you can donate anything to these community cats it would be greatly appreciated.
If you want to learn more about TNR or see studies done on these populations they can all be found at:
