Hey, everyone! I want to start by saying thank you for being open-minded. On this journey, the easiest thing to find is resistance- so Thanks! for being part of the solution.
The next important thing- why we’re! Well, the American Healthcare System certainly doesn’t make it easy to afford transitioning AND stability. Right now, I am a full time content creator, which means no health insurance as I support myself. I have a plan for my hormones, and it covers my gender surgery letters, but not the therapy itself. I am only asking for half of my goal as I know I will be saving just as much for this myself.
The what- more like the what’s not! I was born female and have always had dysphoria about my mother’s hand me down pearls- if ya catch my drift. I’m at the point in life where my hysterectomy and phallo are necessary. I have had top surgery and feel so confident from this, but these other surgeries take years to orchestrate- and I want to start preparing. My goal is to be “done” by 2022 Winter, but realize it will probably be later than that. My surgeon of choice is of course the wonderful Dr. Gallagher in Miami, Fl.
These costs include AirBnb during recovery, first few days until checkup and half of surgery costs. I will be logging everything on my socials as usual.
