Feeney Repast

Friends,

We've helped each other get through a tremendously heavy week with the loss of our dear brother, Michael Feeney. This week has shown that he truly leaves a lasting legacy, and the efforts to honor him have been moving.

Next week's homegoing services will be another difficult chapter in this journey, and we will need each other again.

Many of you have asked how you can help, and at this time there is an urgent funding need.

Following Michael's services Monday, we will continue the celebration of his life at a repast to be held in Harlem. While we have received generous catering support from local business who knew and join us in mourning our friend, we do need help covering the remaining costs of this event.

To that end, we need to raise $4,000 before Monday's service, and we are calling on you, those closest to Michael, to assist us. However you are able to contribute to this urgent request is greatly appreciated.

Please note, this is a separate fundraising effort from that which circulated earlier in the week. Those donations are being used to cover the cost of the service, and the family is grateful for everyone's generosity.

Thank you for responding to the call for help during this difficult time. What we hope to offer is an afternoon of healing, and a brief moment to remember our friend with a smile in the midst of our tears.
