Feed Our Heroes- CT

My family and FRIENDS of Ridgefield want to help in any way we can during this pandemic.  After seeing my old classmates help their local community and hospitals in NJ, it seemed like a no brainer, to do it in Ridgefield, CT.

Show your gratitude in any amount for our frontline healthcare heroes, first responders, firefighters, police force, and, etc. as they lead the fight against COVID-19 in CT,  as well as support our local Ridgefield eateries during this difficult time.   

100% off the funds (minus GoFundMe's fees) will go to local eateries that will serve meals to local hospitals, field hospitals and first responders in Connecticut.  Our first stop is Danbury Hospital and we hope to start delivering food next week. We are looking to serve 50 meals for each delivery.  (I am in daily contact with the Foundation at the Danbury Hospital.)

We will use local restaurants with the ability to deliver food while following all food safety requirements and will post and update everyone here and on our Group Facebook Page

Please reach out with any questions. We will provide updates on what hospitals we have fed and the restaurants we have been able to utilize for the meals.  Our plan is to start delivering food as soon as possible.

Note: All meals will be prepared, packaged, and delivered with the utmost care and in adherence with all food safety requirements. Special precautions being taken during this time include but are not limited to: individually packaged meals so that frontline staff can eat easily and hygienically, and safe delivery with physical distancing and minimal shared contact.
