Disabled Fathers Journey, elbow replacement, Family in need!!

Donation protected

Hello my name is Joseph Glidden.
We are a family of six with 3 juveniles and a disabled brother that I normally take care of with my home 3d print shop business.
I was in a factory accident involving a forklift in 2012 At watts water technologies in franklin new hampshire.
This accident messed up my back and I have worked from home Since then.
I am not on social security but I am in the process of seeking it.
In january I fell on the ice and tore my super spinattus and crush my labrum( rotator cuff).
Surgery (postponed from march 15th to Thursday May 23rd due to lung infection after 3/23 sacroliac joint RFA procedure ) Which will leave me unable to care for my family.
March twenty seventh I have surgery scheduled for my sacroliac joint( The bone that connects your spine to your hips).
RFA Or radio frequency abilation. Basically , they're going to burn the nerves out of my back with lasers.
Anyways, a couple weeks after my first fall, I was dressed up to go to a lawyer's appointment in my nice shoes and I fell again instinctively protecting my right side.I landed on my left elbow.
My elbow was already damaged but worked fine. After the fall it locked up and I had to have my teenage daughter yank it back in the place.
So now I need a entire left elbow replacement as well as the above listed surgeries.
I have never been in a position like this, where i've not been able to support my family.
Somebody gave me this idea. And I said, why not.I know there's still some good people out there. Insurance is covering the surgery.
Just trying to survive the recovery and be able to not worry about losing anything.
Already a few grand behind because of these events. 1st surgery in 3 days on the 27th.
We also suffered a cyber attack the other day. I had just come from putting money on my personal PayPal card.
For grocery shopping and to take my teenage daughter to mcdonald's.
My card was denied, Before I could even get out my business card, the teenager behind the counter said don't worry about it and swiped his own card and paid for my daughter's seventeen dollar meal. Didn't even let me try another card,
He insisted.( a real 1%'er)
Anyways, it has been a string of acts of God.It seems starting with my wifes breast surgery tumor removal in october about the size of a walnut.
On november eighth my teenage daughter made a suicide attempt, almost lost her.
Spent twenty eight hours in the emergency room watching her go in and out of consciousness and in convulsions broke me as a parent.
( We are Currently working with child protective services and partners for peace to get her away from Her mother who is being charged with neglect, emotional and medical abuse by the Department of Human services.
I've been fighting in court for her custody since 2011. Her mother lost custody of her older brother after his 2018 suicide attempt and now it's happening with the child I had with this woman all over again, why they didn't take my Daughter when her son was removed in 2018 I'll never know, His grandmother got custody of him while my daughter has suffered the same fate, left behind in her mother's custody, simply because Maine and New Hampshire courts and DHHS do not communicate as they should)
Then
My back injury happened( again, I have been dealing with this since 2012 ,finally it's time to have surgery. The doctor who does my cortisone injections says that I have the sacroliac joint of an eighty five year old and i'm only forty five, He said he's never seen anything like this in someone my age.
Mayo regional hospital/Northern light orthopedics in Dover-Foxcroft Maine)
The kids grandmother passed away, Then my shoulder injury happened. And then my elbow.
Some days I can't walk, Some.
Days I can walk with a cane. Sometimes I don't need the cane.
But my recovery time after these three upcoming surgeries is what this is for, To be able to take care of my family during this family crisis time.
We tried to get help from the town, But if you make over a thousand dollars a month they will not help you. ( Dad and Brothers ssi is over 1000, both on fixed incomes, 3 seperate dwellings, same address. )
With a family of seven I don't see why that matters but it does.
So hopefully there's some still kind people out there in the world that can spare a few pennies for our family over the next year pretty much until I am recovered and can continue business as usual.
Elbow replacement is the one that worries me the most. Happening after shoulder heals.
Fall most likely, week in the hospital followed by 6+ months physical therapy learning to use my new elbow replacement. SCARY to say the least.
All donations will be put in a savings account for after elbow surgery with the exception of some going to outstanding bills, keeping the lights on and whatnot.
Elbow replacement is what im worried most about. 1,500 are bills average monthly
spring /fall, 2000ish in summer/winter ( heat/cooling)months. If we meet the goal it should be enough to make it through the 6+ months rehabilitation and physical therapy
If we budget properly.
As long as cost of living doesn't go up between now and then that is.
Seems food is just getting more expensive , smaller packages. Tough times for us all in the food department.
Thank you so much and god bless!!!
