Farmer's joy she brings to all on this planet by running, playing, swimming, ball and critter chasing, wrestling with friends, wiggle-waggling, 360 spinouts, nose rubs, and licking you clean for free has been compromised:( Recently diagnosed a cruciate ligament tear, the impact on her ability to walk and move without pain is becoming more and more obvious. She desperately needs surgery to restore her health and prevent further serious complications. Her care for this condition is extremely costly and involves surgery, medication and post-operative rehabilitation. The total estimated cost is steadily climbing north of $9,000. Complicating matters, she needs surgery as soon as possible to prevent further damage that may impact her mobility permanently. As an educator in Maine, the cost of this procedure is out of range and is a cost in planning for a puppy, I did not see coming at 2.5 years young. Please consider sharing this ask with your animal-lover friends and/or donating to support Farmer in restoring her to full puppydom. ANYTHING will help get us closer to the cure and enable me to post photos of Farmer’s recovery:) With all people have to manage in their lives, this feels like a big ask- but hey... it is Farmer and I need to do whatever I can for her, including setting my ego aside. Her gratitude—and mine—and the good karma of the cosmos will abide with you!
