Farewell to our baby sister Leah Sarah

Donation protected

It is with a heavy heart we say " See you later " , " deuces " , or " bonne nuit " to our sweet little Leah Sarah. On August 25 I was unexpectedly informed of our sweet baby sister's passing. Police had reached out to me as next of kin, knowing this day would come, haunting my thoughts, our very existence.

On the 21st of August 2021 police found my baby sister alone, in the cold, like she spent most of her adulthood. Wondering, worrying, unable to process her life's torment, and our parents before her. A survivor, a beautiful soul, a hurt soul, left wondering why she was forgotten, why she was tortured. We all offered our hands, our homes, our hearts on our sleeves but : " she was not ready " ( in her own words ) .

Her laugh, her crazy knotty hair, her goal to make us all laugh, to bring us together is now gone. Her 9 siblings left wondering what we could have done different. How could we have saved her? How could we have given her a better chance to get out of " that life ", back to her kids who she yearned to hold, to touch, to sing to, to say " it will all be ok ".

Our little Leah has left behind her 9 siblings - Dale, Dennis, Ross, Jason, Chris, Brandy, Pierre, Lisa-Marie, and Daniel. Her children - Joseph, Lilly, and Kaleb Rain, and her father Ronald Joseph Casavant.

After many years and tears shed, she is now with our mother. Our baby girl, our niece and nephews mother, our children's Aunt, the last of 10, Lindas miracle baby, the one whom doctors said wouldn't make it. She was our fighter, our light at the end of a tunnel, our yellow ray of sunshine, our sunflower.

She was the Ying to my yang, the other half of me, who knew my heart and soul, who always knew how to make our hearts laugh, and who was the biggest fighter next to our mom.

These funds will go towards helping get Little Leah home, to be next to our mother, our grandparents, and all other family members buried at west lawn. With what ever is left over will go to her 3 beautiful children who have longed to hold her- Joseph, Lilly, and Kaleb.

Thank you so much just for reading about our beautiful Little Leah.
