FAMILY WITH TOTAL LOSS OF EVERYTHING AFTER HELENE & MILTON

Hey everyone, we are Brandon & KayLa and we have our beautiful 2-year-old daughter, Skye. We lived in Punta Gorda, Florida. We are one of many families that were impacted by Hurricane Helene & Hurricane Milton.

We were told the water that came in is considered category 3 "black water" - or contaminated water. It's a mix of river water, ocean water, & sewage. We had 2 feet of water at max point in our home. Everything needs to be replaced:

On top of this, Hurricane Milton is approaching and is expected to hit Tuesday/Wednesday.

All funds will be used to purchase a vehicle, items that were destroyed and/or paying our bills. Any help would be so, so greatly appreciated! Keep us in your prayers. Thanks all!

UPDATE:

After Milton hit, we now have lost completely everything.

We cannot even live in our home at the current time (if ever again) because it is completely unsafe.

There was 2.5 feet (28-30”) of river/ocean/sewage water running through the entire house.

Every outlet was fully submerged in water. (This is the main safety concern).

The living room wall is completely falling apart.

Not to mention, there’s 2 feet tall holes throughout the house, from where the drywall was cut out from damage from Helene.

So on top of needing everything that goes in it, we also need a place to live…
