Hello friends and family!
This September I will embark on a new journey with the Lord! I have been so honorably accepted into The University of the Nations, located in Kona, Hawaii. Here, I have the opportunity to complete a 6 month DTS (Discipleship Training School) with a mission's organization called YWAM, or Youth With a Mission. YWAM began in 1960 and has become one of the world's largest Christian mission organizations. YWAM's purpose is to know God and make Him known all around the world. This organization sends people all over the world proclaiming the Gospel and serving people by being the hands and feet of the Lord.
I learned about YWAM at a young age and have always been inspired by it's mission and purpose. I want to serve the Lord and share His love to His hurting children all across the world. I want to watch revelations in people's lives and watch God perform heart surgery, not only on the people I encounter but also within myself. I feel God has called me to YWAM to experience more of His love and grow a deeper relationship with Him during this new season of my life.
The lecture, or first phase of my training will cost $5,000. The second phase or outreach phase, will cost another $5,000. During the lecture phase, I will be learning more about the nature and character of God! How cool! These three months will be about diving into who God is, hearing His voice, communicating with God's word and intercession!! I will also be put on an an outreach team! The final three months of my DTS will be spent in a third world country. My team and I will be sent across the world to put to use what we have learned in our lecture phase! Here, we will make God's name known!!! We will serve the people of these countries and watch God awaken the hearts of His children! I am so humbled to have been given this opportunity to take on this journey with the Lord. I will leave for the University of the Nations in Septemeber and come back home in March. I ask that you would pray about funding me during this new season! Anything will help! Most importantly, I ask for your prayers as I enter new places, for my protection, and for my health! Thank you for all of your support! I am sooooooo grateful!!!!!
