My name is Christopher. I am a young man who left Haiti with a heart full of dreams, seeking a better future in the United States. I came here as an international student, driven by the hope of building a life that could honor my family and my heritage. For a time, I walked in the light of that dream, sustained by the Almighty’s Grace.
In February 2025, because of cancer my dad passed away which left me with one parent, my mom who actually is living in Haiti right now and then in May 2025, that dream was put to the ultimate test. I was involved in a devastating car accident that left me physically broken. Since that day, my life has been a series of hospital rooms and recovery wards. I have undergone six major surgeries to repair the damage to my body.
As a young man far from home, navigating this level of trauma has been the hardest challenge of my life. But I know I am still here for a reason. I believe the Almighty spared me because there is still work for me to do—to care for the needy and to show others that hope is never truly lost.
The road to recovery is long, and as an international student, the financial burden is overwhelming. While my spirit is strong, the reality of medical expenses, rehabilitation, and basic daily survival while I heal is more than I can carry alone.
Your support will go directly toward:
Uncovered Medical Expenses: Finalizing the costs from my six surgeries and ongoing treatments.
Rehabilitation & Therapy: Helping me regain the physical strength I need to return to my studies.
Basic Cost of Living: Assisting with housing and essentials while I am unable to work during my recovery.
By contributing, you aren't just helping me pay a bill—you are helping a young man stay on the path toward the future he traveled so far to find. I promise to use my life and my story to give back to others once I am back on my feet.
If you cannot donate, please consider sharing my story or keeping me in your prayers. Every act of kindness is a blessing.
