Support Terra Marin School: Protect Our Community & Programs

Dear Readers (Parents, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, and Friends),

I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to support Terra Marin School during a challenging time. Our school, which serves hundreds of public school elementary and preschool students in Marin County through its outdoor nature programs, summer camps, and immersive Mandarin and Spanish language camps, is facing a significant hurdle.

Recently, we were informed of a potential change in our lease agreement by the Mill Valley School District, which has raised concerns within our community. While we understand that districts sometimes need to make difficult decisions, we believe that there is a path forward that honors the commitment and dedication of everyone involved—students, parents, teachers, and the district itself.

Our goal is to engage in a constructive dialogue with the Mill Valley School District to find a solution that supports the continued success of our programs, which have become an integral part of the Marin community. We are committed to transparency with our community and to working collaboratively with the district to reach an amicable resolution.
