Scarlett is home thank you everyone who helped. There's a little bit left over so we were thinking I'm going to get my cats all fixed I've got a vet in town who will let me make payments but he just needs $100 down. Scarlett says those are her sisters so thank you in advance.

My name is Bob Beckwith. I am a 67-year-old living on Social Security in Trinidad, CO. Scarlett is my gorgeous two-year-old best friend.

I've had her and her sister Harley (shown in the picture here) since they were old enough to leave their parents. The three of us have been inseparable for the last couple of years. I can't see my life without them in it. However, last week while Scarlett was making her rounds with some of her friends in the neighborhood, she was picked up by the dog catcher. Unfortunately, it was a new guy who didn't know Scarlett, and of course, she just ran right up to him and said hello.

So she got taken to the pound. The city ordinance says she has to be spayed, has to get a chip, and because I gave her all her shots, there's no record of them. So, they say she has to get all her shots again. It's like $30 a day while she's there, and they're going to keep her for three days after her operation because they want to make sure she's okay, as if I wouldn't take care of her. Well we made it to $190 out $600 so far
