On May 15th, our dear alumnus Junli Liu lost his devoted wife Chunhua Zhang (44 years old), a plant biology professor, after only three months of battling with pancreatic cancer, leaving him with four children aged 13, 11, 4 and 3-month-old baby. Baby Christopher was prematurely delivered by Chunhua and just got out of NICU weeks ago.  The community are sorrowing with the loss of beloved colleague, friend and dedicated mother Chunhua. However, we all know that the basic living needs of the whole family are on single dad Junli’s shoulders. Although Junli will continue working hard as a university researcher (temporary position) to support the entire family under the current overwhelming situation, the outside support for babysitting of baby Chris and daycare for four years old boy can be an immediate relief to guarantee the essential financial stability of the family. 

Therefore, we set up this channel to raise funds to help ease the burden of immediate daycare needs of two children. Your generosity, love and kindness shown here will not only help this family in great needs to fight through the hardship they are facing, but also will plant seeds of love and generosity in their hearts.
