On behalf of Ava's parents Angel and LaQuan we wanted to share Ava's story with you all.

10-year-old Ava Rachel Marie was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor on November 1, 2022. She underwent surgery, and various chemo, radiation treatments, and was hospitalized many times over the past weeks. Her diagnosis was aggressive which caused her to be immobile rapidly and wheelchair-bound and sadly Ava went home to be with the Lord on January 9, 2023.

This unexpected tragedy made it difficult to cover all her medical expenses and obtain life insurance due to her terminal condition. Her family currently needs additional support to cover funeral arrangement expenses and post-medical expenses.

Ava was the most fun, loving, sweetest, smartest, ambitious little girl anyone could ever encounter. She was graceful, poised, respectful and filled any room she walked in full of love. She was a dancer, pianist, secret artist and loving big sister. She was in the 5th grade getting ready to graduate as valedictorian Class of 2023 and on her way to middle school which she was so excited about. Ava achieved her goal of recently starting a jewel line business called CHARMED BY AVA HANDCRAFTED JEWELRY & MORE and successfully had her 1st Pop Up Shop on October 1st at the DOPE GIRL MADE Workshop. Ava was a remarkable daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, goddaughter and friend and will truly be missed by all her loved ones and all the lives she has touched.
