Help Offer Ultrasound Research!

Specializing in fertility, acupuncture and women's care for the last decade, I have helped numerous patients overcome fertility,  pregnancy and lactation issues allowing them to begin or grow their families. In an effort to better serve my patients, I have trained in and am expanding my services to include ultrasounds in my office. This technology will not only aid in the care and nurture of pregnant women and women wishing to become pregnant, it will also provide vital research on treatments to help maintain pregnancies in which fetal blood flow threatens the life of the unborn baby.  

There is little funding for research in the field of Eastern Medicine, mostly due to the fact that we do not develop pharmaceuticals. I have taken it upon myself to create several studies and clinical trials to help develop more effective and evidence based research to better serve patients. 

My research in restoring blood flow to babies in utero has lead to several cases in which I have been able to perform an acupuncture treatment to completely  restore blood flow when the baby's supply was inadequate in utero.  These mothers were previously told that there was no good way to restore blood and oxygen to their babies and they would have to deliver very early or face pregnancy loss.  With treatment, mothers were able to carry full term and to deliver healthy babies. With this machine, I will be able to continue research and develop the exact treatment protocol to save more little ones and improve outcomes.


Most insurance companies will not cover OB ultrasound outside of the normal prenatal or fertility treatment schedule. Often times patients wish to have reassurance that all is well their pregnancies. Patients who wish to check on their babies in utero incur large out of pocket fees. I will be thrilled to offer my patients, most of whom have dealt with multiple pregnancy losses and fertility issues, peace of mind at a very low cost. There is no other office in the area is offering this low cost service for patients. I will provide obstetric ultrasounds at no cost or sliding scale to cover the cost of running and maintaining the machine.  I have selected the best machine with the lowest cost possible. (Typical machines start around $10,000)

Ultrasound machines give us an amazing look inside to provide precise and useful  information to serve patients more effectively. This machine will help me,  without additional costs to patients,  to provide  ultrasounds to:
-Confirm pregnancy
-Measure amount of blood flow
-Monitor growth
-Confirm baby's position and measure amniotic fluid    levels
-Perform important research on fetal blood flow
-Measure uterine lining
-Predict and conform ovulation 

With your help, this machine will allow me do incredible and necessary research, to provide excellent service for others, and to teach other practitioners how to replicate this treatment protocol. I need YOUR help to make these important services affordable and this unfunded research possible.
