On January 21st, after not healing from a routine dental procedure, 12 year old Ezra Allen was diagnosed with level 1 CML, Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. CML is a type of Cancer that is found in the blood and bone marrow, and is typically found in older adults. With this, Ezra will go in and out of remission and have to remain on Chemo medication for the rest of his life, or until a cure is found. He will be treated at home with daily Chemo meds, as well as weekly visits to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Peoria Affiliate. 

I want to help off set the costs of his hospital bills and help the family while Stacy is caring for Ezra at home and is unable to work. The funds raised will be used to pay for his medication co-pays, any hospital bills not covered, and household expenses that Stacy's pay checks would cover. Right now Stacy and Mike are unsure how long she will need to be off work. 

No one ever thinks it will happen to them or their family, but when it does a good support system is so very important. My wish to help them by pulling together and taking care of some of the things they should not have to worry about.  Right now they should only be worrying about Erza's care and comfort.
