If you have ever had the chance to meet Eyva, you know that she is one of the sweetest, outgoing, and loving Siberian Husky Pups that brings a smile to everyone's face.
It is with great sadness to share that Eyva was accidently run over in her hind legs while sleeping under a neighbor's parked car. Eyva has suffered a fractured and dislocated pelvic bone and underwent emergency surgery the day of the accident at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in South Deerfield, Massachusetts.
Eyva will remain in the hospital for 3-4 days and will then require a 6-8 week rehabilitiation period to be able to walk, run, and play on her own. The cost for her surgery and emergency care will be$5,500-$6,300, not including any future docotor visits, medication, or physical therapy. Please help us in providing Eyva with the best possible care as we begin her road to recovery.
