Hunger grows in the hollow places.
When tragedy befalls a young Oregon mother at the turn of the last century, her world fractures — and something darker seeps in.
Set against a haunting rural backdrop and laced with the supernatural, Appetite explores the lengths one woman will go to protect her family. Blending past and present, this psychological thriller asks:
What happens when grief doesn’t just change us — it consumes us?
What Is It?
We made a short film with a small crew, a small budget, and a whole lot of heart. It was a group of people stepping into new roles, experimenting, and coming together to tell a story we believed in.
We learned. We grew. And with limited resources, we created something we’re proud of.
Now, we’re ready to do it again, bigger, bolder, and with everything we’ve learned.
We’ve assembled a stronger team, refined our vision, and we’re ready to fully realize the story we set out to tell the first time.
Where Will The Funds Go:
We’re raising funds to bring this next version of the film to life, a more ambitious production that captures the scale, depth, and emotion of the story as it was meant to be told.
Your support will help cover production costs — including locations, props, camera and lighting rentals, and meals for our hardworking cast and crew.
What’s Your Plan?
Filming is planned for 2026, with a festival release in 2027.
