El Movimiento Campesino de Nicaragua invita a la comunidad Nicaragüense en el exterior para que ayudemos a nuestros hermanos nicaragüenses que están retenidos en la frontera de Nicaragua con Costa Rica, el gobierno Nicaragüense se niega a permitirles regresar a su país de origen hasta que tengan una prueba COVID-19 negativa. Sin embargo, el gobierno de Nicaragua se niega a pagar las pruebas, los costo de la prueba no son accesible.
Esta pequeña ayuda estaría dirigida a un grupo más vulnerable de entre ellos mujeres embarazadas, niños y ancianos, que día a día están expuestos al calor, agua no sanitaria y sin alimentos. Necesitan nuestro apoyo inmediato para obtener una prueba COVID-19 para que puedan regresar a sus hogares.
Se estará trabajando en coordinación con la Fundación Arias, esta trabajan con labotorios que proporcionaran pruebas COVID-19 por $70 para una sola prueba.

During the COVID-19 global pandemic, Nicaraguans refugees are currently exiled at the Costa Rican border. The Nicaraguan government is refusing to allow them to return to their home country until they have proof of a negative COVID-19 test. However, the government refuses to pay for the testing. The cost of the test is unaffordable for the average Nicaraguan- therefore an impossible cost for a Nicaraguan refugee.
There is confirmation that vulnerable pregnant women and elders are at the Costa Rican border. They are exposed to heat, unsanitary water, and without food. They need our immediate support to get a COVID-19 test so they can return to their homes. La Clinica Biblical in Costa Rica has offered to provide COVID-19 testing for $70 for a single test.
