Eviikhuu Enkhzul Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Ayumi Caldwell (aka Sister Sugimoto).  Sister Eviikhuu Enkhzul and I served in the Utah Provo Mission as missionaries (2003 under President Merrell) for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

After returning from the United States, Eviikhuu returned to Mongolia, got married, and has two young children.  She divorced her abusive husband 2 years ago, and now she lives with her children.

A couple of months ago, Eviikhuu was hit by a drunk driver while crossing the crossroad and sustained a severe back injury.   She contacted the police numerous times to have the drunk driver convicted, unfortunately, they told her the case is now closed.  She had to quit her job because of the injury.  Her ex-husband is threatening to take away the custody of her children claiming that she cannot take care of their children.

She is desperately in need of a back surgery at the end of July, which will cost her $27,000.  She was able to take out a loan from the bank around $9000, but it's $18,000 short.  I originally posted the goal amount to be $9,000 due to translations issues, I'm sorry!

Eviikhuu is a fun, energetic person who loves to make people smile.  She is also a fighter, but she needs our help!  Please share her story if you can.  The funds will help with the surgery.
