Please Help Evan & Family during medical emergency

Hi, my name is Michaela and I am the mother of Evan. Around Wednesday 12/27, Evan developed a skin irritation. Over the coming days, it started to grow. On Monday, 1/1 it started to drain and I took him to the ER. At the ER, he was given a CT scan and IV antibiotics and sent home with oral antibiotics. The next day, it began to drain more and he was in severe pain. We returned to the ER, but this time at the children’s hospital. It was drained and we were sent home. Later that evening, we returned back to the ER with vomiting, fever, and more drainage. At this point, he was admitted with sepsis. He was started on very, very strong antibiotics. In the morning we saw the surgeon and it was determined that surgery was necessary as the lymph nodes and tissue had started to die. Surgery was Thursday morning and it was a success, however it left him with a large open flesh wound that is unable to close. They are not certain what the bacteria is, but we are certainly not in the clear yet until we know what medicine will get rid of it. Due to this emergency, Michaela is out of work indefinitely until Evan is healed up and able to return to normal every day life.
