Eugene Rowan Sr Family Fund
Donation protected
This is a family/ ceremony community donation and fundraising effort to help the Rowan and Daychief Family as they recover from the tragic accident they were in. The aftermath of the accident will result in many bills, recovery and therapy - family and friends of the family have organized this family fund campaign in an effort to help them during this time.
In the early morning (approx 1:30am) of Wednesday July 8, 2015 there was a fatal accident that happened near Buck Lake, AB. Eugene Rowan Sr. and Lisa Daychief and their family (Eugene Jr, Justice and Shaq; including nephew Braydon Daychief) were travelling home from a ceremony they had just attended. Their van was struck by another vehicle/ truck who ran a stop sign causing this tragic accident, leaving the O'Chiese, Daychief and Rowan family without Lisa (mom/ sister/ daughter/ aunty/ kookum) and Shaq ( son/ brother/ cousin/ nephew/ grandson/ dad).
Eugene Sr., Justice, Eugene Jr. and Braydon were all taken to the University of Alberta and Royal Alex hospitals for the injuries they suffered in the vehicle collision. The grieving journey for their lost loved ones in the accident will take time, as will the recovery from the injuries suffered.
Several family and friends have inquired about helping and donating to the family in whatever way they can. We have set up an in trust account for Eugene Sr. and his family to help them during this time. The recovery from this accident will take months/ years and any support the family gets is greatly appreciated.
The funds raised from this donation/ fundraiser will go directly to the family to help with expenses related to their living costs, recovery and rehabilitation.
Any and all donations will be accepted. If people feel more comfortable donating directly to the CIBC in trust bank account that has been set up by the family please contact Tasheena Daychief for details. Send a message and we will provide this information to you. Hiy Hiy/ Thank You
