Shoes for Ethiopian runners

Hey I am Fere Tallmadge. I am on the DSA cross country and track teams. First I would like to say how thankful I am to have had the opportunity to run with wonderful teammates and to have a family who supports me in my running and can provide running equipment like shoes, shorts, tops...
I was born in Ethiopia and lived there for 11 years and I know what it is like to not have enough money to get what I want or even need. I also know in America what it's like to have what I need. That why I need your help raise money for young Ethiopian runners.
My family and I will be traveling to Ethiopia in June. As a runner these past three years I have learned how important it is to have the right shoes to function properly so I would like to help these runners who are very serious about their running but don't have enough to buy the right shoes.
Please help me raise $500 and put smiles on the runners!
